St Albans City & District Council appoints Amaze
St Albans City and District Council has appointed top digital agency, Amaze Europe for a complete design and build of their website, intranet and extranet.
Amaze fought off stiff competition in a four way pitch process and will be deploying the cutting edge technology – Tridion CMS.
Amaze will also be working in close partnership with St Albans City and District Council to re-brand their website, to ensure a clear message is communicated across all channels of web communication. The plan is to create a contemporary brand that will complement the heritage of St Albans.
Mutairu Jibril, the Head of ICT at the District Council said: “I was impressed with not only Amaze’s enthusiasm for the project but also their experience in the public sector. They have a thorough understanding of our guidelines and share our vision in making the website act as the first point of contact for residents and businesses.”
Natalie Gross, Managing Partner for Amaze (Europe) Ltd commented: “Having successfully deployed Tridion CMS for the Greater London Authority this is an excellent project to further demonstrate our position as industry leaders in applying this technology. The rebranding project is also a great testament to our skills as a technical agency with an impressive creative capability as well.“
This new project is just the start of a long term partnership between St Albans City and District Council and Amaze (Europe), with the launch of the website planned for autumn 2008.
