The Co-operative Group’s commitment to their successful graduate and undergraduate schemes is leading to an improved web presence.
Marketing and Technology Agency, Amaze has won the brief to complete work on the new site and provide recommendations for an ongoing digital communications strategy. The redesigned site will enhance interaction with students who wish to apply for the scheme and join future intakes.
The first phase of a relaunch, which has brought the site in line with the group’s overall brand identity, was delivered earlier this month. Amaze and The Co-operative Group will now continue to work together on further site improvements, set to include video features, podcasts, online polls, a virtual tour and a discussion forum.
Hannah Slaney, Group Graduate Programme Manager for The Co-operative Group said: “Our intake of new graduates every year, including one-year placements, has helped to bolster the quality and depth of expertise available to all of our businesses. The website is an important first step of the application process and we want graduates to feel welcome and inspired to join us. We’re confident that Amaze can deliver an improved digital presence to help us achieve this.”
Joanna Hinchliffe, Account Director at Amaze, said: “We’re very pleased to be working with The Co-operative Group again after working on both The Co-operative Funeralcare and The Co-operative Food websites last year. Long-term aspirations for the new recruitment site include the creation of an online community which will link the experiences of graduate employees already working within the organisation to curious, would-be applicants visiting the site.”
