Amaze appointed by Keep Britain Tidy to deliver an innovative web presence.
Keep Britain Tidy has appointed Amaze to design and build a new innovative web presence to support the nationwide launch of its new anti-litter brand, ‘Love Where You Live’ (LWYL).
The LWYL brand is a reinvigoration of the 40-year-old ‘Tidyman’ logo and aims to promote behavioural change to drive action and reduce littering in the local community, as well as encourage communication about this issue both on and offline. The new site will be launched ahead of the LWYL’s awareness week in September 2011.
Speaking of the recent agency appointment, Louise Marsden, Head of Marketing and Communications at Keep Britain Tidy commented, “With an awareness week planned in just a few months time the site would need to be up and running long before then to help generate excitement and support through online community engagement. Amaze really impressed all of us with its expertise and track record in developing creative digital solutions and managing the online presence for so many well-known brands.”
With public engagement a key focus for the LWYL brand, Amaze has been tasked to build a social online community as well as pulling in brand discussions to the new site from the wider web and various social media channels through an innovative ‘social buzz’ feature.
The new site will also provide an online space to showcase the LWYL brand with the aim of securing support from corporate sponsors and allowing them and local authorities to showcase their commitment to the cause. Moreover, Amaze’s digital services will integrate with the wider LWYL marketing mix, sitting alongside social media, traditional advertising and media relations to further complement LWYL’s brand message.
“It is a real privilege to work with a brand like LWYL which has such an important message that it is trying to convey. We are extremely excited to be involved in this project and with what is set to be a meaningful partnership and journey over the next 10 years,” commented Natalie Gross, Managing Partner of Amaze.
