Connectpoint curries favour with the media

Connectpoint PR has just turned up the heat when it comes to promoting client XXX Mints' sponsorship of National Curry Week (23 - 29 November) by creating and organising the XXX Mints 24 Hour Curry Crawl Challenge, which has generated almost £500,000 of press coverage.

The challenge, which saw a Midlands and Northern team go head to head to set a new world record for the most number of curry houses visited in 24 hours, secured coverage with national outlets such as Talk Sport and the Daily Star, while also getting regional TV on Central ITV, plus countless local radio and press pieces.

This and the National Curry Week sponsorship, which was also leveraged by Connectpoint, were designed to underline the brand's positioning as the strongest extra strong mint on the market.
